From December 21 to 24, 2025, a joint mission took place in Togo to strengthen commercial ties and identify the precise equipment needs of the local market. In collaboration with our local partner, Magnimesso, this intensive mission facilitated strategic exchanges with a wide range of stakeholders, from the highest government authorities to private companies and agricultural cooperatives. The goal was clear: to map the demand for construction equipment, trucks, and agricultural machinery for local authorities, construction companies, farmers, and transport operators.
Several high-level meetings were a highlight of the mission. An audience was granted by the Minister of Urban Planning and Housing, who emphasized the need for new equipment and expressed support for public-private partnership schemes. Simultaneously, a meeting with rice farmer unions revealed a strong interest in a wide range of specialized agricultural machinery, from track-type tillers to combine harvesters. Other meetings at the National Assembly and various town halls in the Togolese capital confirmed the existence of concrete and recurring needs, particularly for dump trucks, graders, and compactors, with a general emphasis on quality and reliable after-sales service.
Togolese private companies also demonstrated sustained interest, with specific and sometimes urgent requests. Companies such as ECORE, EIGC-BTP, the Sand Loading Syndicate, and Trans Alloman S.A. expressed precise needs for heavy-duty equipment, ranging from tracked excavators to water tankers and transport trailers. These direct exchanges with end-users validated the market's potential and gathered concrete expectations regarding performance and delivery times. By clearly identifying market opportunities and local partner expectations, this mission has provided a solid foundation for developing our future activities in Togo through Magnimesso.
